Telling your graduated self something.
12th grade me, I hope you do better in school. You better have a good paying, minimum wage job. I hope by the time I get to 12th grade, I will become better at playing music, and getting good grades. I hope to learn more things as well.

Website making
I have made a website before, in eighth grade. I used Wix Website Editor as my editing platform. I did not like the way it turned out, nor did I enjoy the assignment that went with it.

Survey Reflection
I have never made a google form until now. A google form is a place to make and take surveys. I Have used google forms to fill out academic related surveys about teachers and how they teach.

Good at somthing
I am good at playing the saxophone. It is important to know how to assemble one, hold one, play notes on one, and forming an "embouchure" on one. To become better at all these basic things you would first need a saxophone. you would also need to use it everyday under instruction. In order to play an instrument in general, you would need to know something about music.

Spring Break
Over Spring break I did not do much. I wish I went somewhere like this:
Or this:
I did not go anywhere. I stayed at home watching TV.

Apps
I use apps on my phone a lot. I can image life without apps, and I do not like the idea. Without these apps I would not be able to keep in touch with friends through snap chat or the message app.

My Weekend
During my weekend I didn't do much. I mostly slept in and played video games. However I figured out the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is easier than Call of Duty Modern Ware fare Remastered, so I spent a lot of my weekend playing Infinite Warfare. I finished my homework.

Current Event
Microsoft made a new app that easily transfers data on your mac to windows. The article talks about the the basic set up of the app and how easy it is to transfer your data by asking you what folders you want to keep which are compressed into a Zip folder accessible on a Surface Book; However, Microsoft advises you to use it only for surface Tablets. They can be accsessed on any computer with Windows on it. This is Microsoft trying to take Apple customers. Judging the feedback from the article's comment section by mac users, they seem to like Mac better than Windows anyways.
This is similar to the "Move to IOS" app that Apple made a few years ago.
This relates to Emerging Technologies because it helps new windows users learn about a new way to transfer your data to a new system.
I found that Microsoft has recently more "hostile" towards apple. essentially calling the new apple Ipad:
"A fake computer trying to pass of as a real one."

Peer feedback
As I explored my peer's infographics, my favorite one was Gavin Woodworth's where I learned all about Memes and where to find them. From Amits infographic I learned about the NCSY, and what they do. From Chris's, I learned about Football Concussions and where they mostly happen. From Cooper's I learned about gamers and how many of them there are. Lastly from Parker's I learned about both gatorade and water, and the benefits of each.

Info Graphic
I learned that infographics are used to present data. I did not enjoy it because the tools to make infographics are not the greatest. I would use it as a guide in an actual presentation. I used easily. The site was easy, but it was frustrating to make. I would look for a different one.

Infographics
Infographics are visual representations of information, and data. The purpose of an infographic is to make the reader look at data presented and compare the data given to them without having to read a long article or scientific journal.
Information best displayed on infographics are stats about a certain topic, like childhood obesity. They help convey a message by letting the reader look at it visually in order to capture their attention.
I would use an infographic to organize data and describe it.

Canva V Lucidpress
The easiest design program to use was Canva, and was also the easiest to sign up for. Canva is more simple to use and has a lot of free items to insert into your project. However Canva does have a lot of paid content, which are better than the free ones. If you want to make a brand in Canva it costs money. Lucid Press has a file organizer so you can better organize your numerous documents. Lucid Press also has a new feature where you can insert and in-design import. Lucid Press however could be harder to use for some people.
Lucid Press made the nicest documents. Canva has more free features, but I thought Lucid Press was better. I liked Lucid Press better because I felt it was easier to use, and it made better documents.

TED talk: "Connected, but alone?"
I agree with the talk because people, like my friends, go on technology while hanging out together. However we are still together because rather than being silent on our phones, we talk too. I will not change anything because I find a balance of talking through text and actually talking in real life. The digital age will produce innovations in humanoid robotics.
TED Talk guide
Newspaper clipping
I agree with the post because teenagers are the future. Can teens do much to impact the world? Not really, because teens do not have a large voice. I agree that the only thing teens can do is to live normally. Study for school, do your chores, and develop responsibility.

Social bookmarking
This Article made me realize what social bookmarking truly is. Its places like Reddit and Pinterest. These social bookmarking sites are useful for getting ideas and sharing those ideas. I learned that places like Twitter, and Linkedin are social bookmarking sites.

Social Bookmarking
Social Bookmarking is pretty much a website that lets people save links that you commonly use. I do not use a social bookmarking service but I have a Symbaloo account from the 8th grade computer tech class I took. Some you could use include Symbaloo or Delicious, which was launched in 1996 so Social Bookmarking has been a thing for a while.

1/20/17 PREZI reflection
Prezi is easier to use because it is more simple than power point. Prezi creates a more effective presentation because you can use more creativity in the presentation. Power Point would be used in a more professional setting because it is not as creative as Prezi and Prezi would be used for a more creative crowd. I would use Power Point.
